Frequently asked questions
Clear answers, with contract-dependent details called out.
Final company procedures and contract terms are still required. Where an answer depends on those items, this page does not guess.
What is a vehicle service contract?
It is a contract that may help pay for eligible repairs after a covered mechanical breakdown, subject to its terms. It is not auto insurance and it is not a manufacturer warranty.
Is this the same as a manufacturer warranty?
No. A vehicle service contract is a separate product. Eligibility, covered components, administrators, and claim procedures come from the contract you select.
What vehicles may qualify?
Vehicle age, mileage, location, use, condition, and other configured rules may affect preliminary eligibility. Final rules must be approved before launch.
What information is needed for a quote?
You can begin with ZIP code, vehicle year, make, model, mileage, and purchase status. We request contact information only after the vehicle steps.
Are pre-existing problems covered?
Do not assume they are. Pre-existing conditions may be excluded, and the exact contract controls every coverage decision.
Can I choose my repair facility?
Eligible repair-facility requirements must be confirmed in the selected contract. Contact claims support before authorizing work.
How are claims started?
Stop driving if the vehicle is unsafe, contact the configured claims administrator, and have the repair facility submit its diagnosis before repairs begin.
Is there a deductible?
A deductible may apply. Available amounts will be shown only after approved plan and pricing configuration is present.
When does coverage begin?
The effective date and any waiting period come from the final contract. Reviewing options or submitting a quote does not activate coverage.
Can coverage be transferred or canceled?
Transfer and cancellation rights are contract- and state-specific. Review the approved contract and contact customer support for the applicable process.
Can I review the contract before enrolling?
Yes. Approved sample or state-specific contracts will be available before enrollment. No sample contract is currently configured.
